During ceremonial closing ceremony of ShamkirChess2017 tournament dedicated to the memory of famous azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov, the gift was presented to the Russian chess player Vladimir Kramnik.

Former Russian chess player Vladimir Kramnik, having the special interest of Azerbaijani chess enthusiasts, was surprised in the closing ceremony. Amateur artist Aynur Abdullayeva presented his portrait to Vladimir Kramnik .

Aynur Abdullayeva said that compelling her to draw this portrait  was the beauty of  the opening ceremony and the love of Kramnik to Shamkir.

The head of Executive Power of Shamkir Alimpasha Mammadov presented the lady’s own handmade portrait to the player.
