The president of the International Chess Federation Kirsan Ilyumzhinov  acquainted with Vugar Gashimov Chess Academy in Baku. Gasim Gashimov, late Vugar Hashimov's father informed the   head of FIDE  about the academy. It's reported that more than 200 juniors  are engaged in Vugar Hashimov Chess Academy . The academy   organizes a lot of tournaments during the year.

 

Highly appreciating the created conditions, the president of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumhjinov emphasized that the academy will have the special role in the development of chess in the country.
