Dedicated to the memory Vugar Hashimov ShamkirChess2017 tournament’s V round is coming to its end. According to the presss service, Bulgarian  representative Veselin Topalov lost to Russian chess player Sergey Karjakin in the reporting round.

Playing with black  figures Veselin Topalov, said that he made a mistake in decisive move: "Opponent did not gain the advantage after debut. The game went on equal level. But then i made a mistake. Karjakin took advantage of it. It was impossible to save the game. I regret that I had lost. My mood will not be so good at the weekend".

Topalov will play football with participants of tournament together tomorrow in the rest day. Not thinking about football Sergey Karjakin said he was satisfied with Fifth round: "I always play with attention against strong opponents. That is why I have prepared well to the game. After debut the situation was equal . The opponent made a mistake, but it did not go without my attention.  It was a very bad mistake. I am very happy that i had won. The tournament starts for me now ".
